Greetings all,

I am in the process of reassembling an 8N engine, and have a question...

The center and rear main bearing caps have arrows stamped on them. Of course I neglected to take notice of which way they were pointing when I removed them, so that is my question: Which way do the arrows point?

The closest thing I have found is assembly instructions making notes of arrows on pistons. Nothing in the manual, and I haven't found anything here online.

Cheers,
Rob

Whenever you are putting bearing caps on (rods or mains) the little tangs that hold the bearings in always sit together on the same side.
