Thought I would check here. I am triing to find a fair set of rear tires for my N. I basicly use it to grade the drive and for snow removal and just hate to spend the money for a new set that I am sure will out last me. I live in lower Michigan so anyone within say a couple hundred miles with a set for sale let me know. If I need to get new can I put 12.4 on the stock rims? Just curious for the extra weight in snow.

Bob..... ...yer N-Tractor came from the factory with 10.0x28 (now relabled 11.2x28) ag-bar tires on 10-28 rims. The 11.0x28 (now relabled 12.4x28) will fit the 10-28 rims (it sez so 'cuz its moulded into the sidewall of the 12.4x28 ag-bar tire) And while there is only a slight premium ($10-15) for the larger 12.4x28, the 11.2x28 actually fits the 10-28 rim slightly better and keeps the tread flatter on the ground. (12psi)

A new set of rear ag-bar tires with improved rubber compounds and superior tirecords will certainly last longer than you can wear the ag-bars off (unless yer into plowing sandy-loam 24/7 pullin' a 3-bottom plow.

Besides, it ain't the rearwheel anti-freeze water weight that gives you snow traction or tirewidth that gives you flotation, its CHAINS!!!..... ....Dell
