We were visiting my wifes grandfather in Texas last weekend and stopped by a roadside vegetable stand and while there ran across an 8N tractor painted pink! I had to get a picture of it, especially since my wife just happened to be dressed in pink that day.

Its located south of Marble Falls Texas on 281. The owners said they painted it pink so that her husbands brother would stop borrowing it. Guess what, it worked!

Is it me or does the air cleaner jar look all filled up with stuff? Probably the same weed seed fluff that is on front of the radiator.

My family and I were down that way on the 14th and passed by there. I noticed a pink N, but didn't have the time to investigate. It looks like a late model 8N with proofmeter, might have a magneto. 2N engine changeout? Throttle linkage looks more like 9/2N. Test port plumbing... DON TX

Brad,
Your wife deserves a better looking tractor, though I do like their thinking on the paint job.
Looks like 2N steering, tranny and pedals on 8N rear end, wheels and hood. And what IS that rat's nest up there where one would expect to find a generator or distributor?

There is no 9N parts on there that I see. Just looks like a late model 8N missing the shifter ball.

I see a sidemount distributor on it which rules out a 9N/2N engine, cant really see the brakes that well. The distributor is a mess though, not to mention the beat up dogleg and missing grill too.
