Well after a long winter of patching the beast to stay running it was time to rebuild the engine. Got lucky and picked up a 2N on ebay that had sat for years. Long story short, the 2N had a great motor in it. Swaped out the 2N into the 8N and rewired for 12 volt and grabed the spry gun and hit it all with the famous 20/20 paint job. If it wasn't for the fergy sheet metal it would be a real good 8N. Just nice to get back in the seat. Real nice to have it start faster than you can let of the starter button. Unfortunately with out all the smoke the skeeters are back.
