Thanks, Bill

you could always add some spacers to your rear fender mounts if your fingers are of concern. I have seen this done before and is quite simple to do.

Well, going to pickup my new 11 x 28 wheels Sat morning for the new tires. That will get it back to a useable condition and that"s good cause I got some dirt work to do! I think this winter we will probably start a complete restoration, shhhh (except for tire size).

Looks good on there! Did you have to do any spacing?

This set came off a 600 tires rims and centers direct fit, should be the same fer a N rim. if I had to buy new tires no I would not go with'em, I had'em on a junker. I would go with 11 ?? X 28

Maybe I should take these 13"s back before I mountum and get teh 11.2 or maybe a 12.4 Guess I need to de cide before I pickup the new wheels. Fortunately they 9, 10 & 11" wheels in stock. Guess I should go with a 9 or 10 wide and get the smaller tires.

Your call, for normal use bigger aint better in my opinion. Bigger will make it faster and they are to fast to start with. I have Goodyear tri bars on my werk’er and they do werk good.

Well today I returned the 13.6"s and got the 11.2"s. Fired it up and did some dirt work, she did real good. This is the longest it"s run at a stretch since I got it, ansd a few minor issues have come up.

1. It got hot after about 30 minutes of run time, keeping in kmind it"s 103 today.
2. After it got warm the stater bendix is not engageing any ideas on that?

I agree with regard to size, it was more matter of imediate availability. I knew the larger diameter would change the final effective gear ratio. Would be nice if you could easily change the ring and pinion to a lower ratio. Mine has the sherman aux trans, not sure if it"s an overdrive or a reduction unit though. If it"s an overdrive that dude will fly in high gear with the larger tire!

I would think they would fit. I have them on my NAA. You might have to move the wheel out a tad if they rub the fender. Mine have about an inch of room between them and the fender where I have them set now.
