John..... ..NO!!! While the N's hydraulics will lift about 1200# iff'n you chain the frontaxle to the ground, unfortunately the short wheelbase of the N-Tractor becomes airborn at about 800# of lift.

They make roundbail trailers usually called "doodle-bugs" that have a reach-over stinger that clamps the roundbail onto the trailer bed between the wheels. You can even tow them down the highway behind yer pick'em-up..... ...Dell

You could use a round bale carrier, with it's own load-carrying wheels.

The one at the link below creates UP pressure, so you'd need a fixed drawbar to pull it with your "N".

There are other makes that have the wheels more alongside the bale, I can't recall any brand names at the moment, though, but they are out there.

I wouldnt even try it.To unsafe. My 706 ger. with 400#"s of front weights would become light on the front with a 1200# bale.

It's possible that it would lift them but I would say it was unlikely. Even if it did I would consider it unsafe. 1200 pounds is about half the weight of the tractor hanging off the rear, that would probably bring the front wheels off the ground at the slightest of bumps. And then there is the issue of N brakes not being so good. Personally I would say don't do it.
