Yesterday, being such a nice day to run some out of town errands, I ended up strolling through Thief River Falls, Mn...(I often pass through that area, but use the truck bypass)..A fresh Orileys sign stood out on the front of a parts store as I drove by...I remembered that you mentioned the good luck you have with carb kits from Orileys, and made it a point to get in touch with the store..I tracked down their phone number today and gave them a call...Them seemed more than eager to send purchases out in the mail, and accept phone orders...nice....Nicer yet, I often drive through Thief River Falls eight times a day, and there is enough room to park a semi out front...For me, that would make doing business with them a double winner for me. Again, thanks for mentioning Orileys...BDT

There is a new O'Reilly store in Gentry, AR. The folks there are very helpful. The manager plans to bring a traveling, farm-related parts display to our antique tractor and engine show in April if he can get it scheduled in time. If not, he said he will definitly have it at our September show. At the moment, I can't find the pamphlet he gave me about the display, but you might ask your local O'Reilly manager about it if you are interested. I know how to spell "O'Reilly" because the manager gave caps to my mechanic buddy and me, and I looked to be sure.

Always happy to help if and when I can. It may take a little training on your part to get the parts guy up to snuff but they do try most of the time if you tell them enough info. I have trained more then one guy and I have even looked up my own parts at times when the right guy wasn't there. The nice thing is they can get most parts you need if you just find the right guy to look them up for you

Hobo the kits are basic type kits. Walker brand. The kit number is 778-505 so not they don't have the shafts in them but for the price its also not to bad. Last one I got was around $15 give or take a little.

Got one in our small town of Austell GA.
Went in one day for a ballast resistor. Told the guy, Young guy at that, that I needed a resistor for my old Ford tractor, He said I know just what you need, AND he was right on the money. The clerk at the Auto zone had NO IDEA what I was talking about. Keep wanting to look it up on their "computer". Good Luck, jackie

LOL, Austell GA small?

My closest "towns" Felton (not a town no more, just a place, they wiped it off the map and put it back), Cedartown (has an Orileys, now) Buchanan, and Rockmart.
