We have an 8 inch grain auger about 60 feet long at around a 25degree angle to load a semi. The 65 Massey gas pulls it fine but you can hear the motor pulling some. Have any of you used your N on a grain auger. I really want to use the old 2-n just to see if it will handle the job. The grain goes in to the auger at about 14 to 15 bushels per minute. B. Jones

Let me see, if a 50hp tractor struggles, then a 25hp tractor won't do the job, but try it and see.

It will handle it, IF you don't try to push too much grain through it too fast... That auger running at or near full capacity would need something bigger than an N.
