Alright, i centered drilled the bolts and ez outed 2 pretty easy. the third needed a little convincing. the fourth, well it don't wanna move even with penetrating fluid AND heat. i'll work on that some more though.

i did get the hitch on but the lower link chains attach to an angled bracket on each side. those brackets come off for the large hanging plate. the brackets are also bent forward so i have to flatten them out and put them on OR
i could just use one less link on each chain and pin them that way. any problem with that idea fellas?

You dont want it where you cant hook stuff up because your chains too short, and you dont want the arms rubbing on the tires.

the chains were normal length. i added the swinging drawbar kit. the holes in the hanger bracket are up HIGHER than where the original bracket holes were. so i took one link away to even it up. as long as the arms don't hit the axle housings i would think i would be ok.
any thoughts? oh, i can hook up to implements just fine.

Your old chain brackets have a long side & short side. They may have been installed upside down, which makes the chain holes set lower.

What I mean is...the higher chain holes on the drawbar bracket may be the correct height.

I could not find a difference in the chain length so was gonna look for a longer link chain

yea i think i agree with you on that. maybe 3/8" clearance between the top of the lower links and the axle housings when the links are lifted.

just my luck today as i got a flat on a new frt left tire while quacking some old uneven barnyard sod.
