Engine was running great after rebuild , went to start next day no spark. Checked with ohm meter no shorts or resistance to point, had coil checked threw about a half inch spark on the test machine, condenser checked good, have 6.3 volts @ coil with points open but only 2.4 volts with points closed, resistor is warm, jumpered ignition switch .I am stumped ,could condenser possibly be bad? Any guesses appreciated BOB

If you checked at the plugs and none had spark then it's possible either the rotor or cap is bad, or the high voltage connection from the coil to the cap isn't making. Other than that, the coil voltages sound right and the condensor is cheap so try replacing it.
