Typical problem, There is a replacement needle & seat available. The needle has a viton tip which will eleminate leakage by the needle. This is usually the problem, of coarse it could be caused by improper float setting, trash,or a crack in the casting etc. I have gotten into the habit of shutting the gas off about 30 sec. before the engine, this stops the leaking plus if the tractor sets for an extended length of time, it allows the needle to unseat, and prevents it from sticking to the seat. Hope this helps....Jay
