Hey, my Pagoo call-watcher works great! If someone calls while I'm online, I hear their recorded message through the computer a few seconds later. Cheaper than a 2nd phone line.

I downloaded IE5 and a week later, I have lost my bookmark organizer and search features. I'm back on Netscape, thank you very much. I like some stuff about IE5. Maybe it's just too buggy right now. Anybody else have problems w/ IE5?

Different strokes for different folks...and computers. I'm a Netscape kinda guy. Running whatever the latest and greatest version is. The intrusive takeover of my machine by IE annoys the heck out of me. As did it's destroying all graphics capabilities by determining that it was the best (and only) way to handle image files.

And this morning, I've just finished battling a PC here that refused to download some files in IE, but would do so quite willingly with Netscape. So be it. The reverse happens to, as with the 8N research safety page that will not work in Netscape.

I suppose both are fine, just a matter of chosing if you like expresso or capacino.

I use IE 5.0 at work and home, and love it. I have had no problems with it and love the autotext feature. Sure saves keystrokes! My most used software is Microsoft (Office 2000, Outlook 2000 for email/groupware, and FrontPage 2000 for web page development), so perhaps that is why I haven't had any conflicts.

Netscape is good stuff. I've used it a lot in the past. However, they are steadily losing market share to MS, and I don't know how bright their future is with regards to browsers. If they keep losing market share, it will be tough to justify the cost of future development, and they do have other irons in the fire that generate more revenue.

The rock and the hard place. I don't like Microsoft and I don't like AOL, who now owns Netscape. I guess I'll try to download IE5 again and see if the glitches disappear. IE5 has a lot of neat features and seems to be a little quicker than NS4.1

I went to add/remove programs. I clicked remove IE5 and it volunteered to fix any corrupt files, which it did. I got my bookmark organizer and search features back. I'm impressed.

I run IE5 with no problems. I used to be a die-hard Netscape browser guy. I had version 4.5 and would receive numerous fatal exception errors which basically meant I had to reboot my computer all of the time. I tried everything to fix the problem. Worked some with the tech people of Netscape. I fixed the problem myself. I downloaded IE and haven't had a problem since. Different makes of computers with different software loaded must mean conficts at times. IE is for me at this point in my internet addictive life. :-)
