I bought a used 3 cyl kabota diesel and instaleed it on the side of my semi. I am using it to keep my truck warm when I sleep and to prewarm the truck before I get in it after a few days off. The problem I'm having is after about 30 min. the motor will act as if it's out of fuel and quit running, after a minute it will restart but will only run a short time and then stop again. I have a new eletric fuel pump, new filter and water separater.

I keep getting air in my fuel system, I've replaced my primairy pump and all the hoses even inside the fuel tank. Could a bad injector possiably be allowing purge stroke air into my fuel pump? Any ideas???

My #2 injector consistently had more air in it than the rest,(while bleeding system).
I replaced this injector and everything is fine now. Thanks for the advice, Don

Had a ZTR lawnmower that had a small Kubota engine on it that did the same as yours. I took the black hose off going to the inj. pump from the filter and put on a clear hose. Started engine and watch for air bubbles. Found one of the hoses that came from the tank had a pin hole in it. Ran fine after replacing it.
