First post did not go well, this is a repeat: This Tractor has STAUB on the hood, and SLNZI SN103231, Novellara, DVA 920 on a data plate atached to the engine. Tractor was purchased used in France, the owner believes that it was made in Italy using a German two clylinder diesel. It is a 4WD, with articulating steering, a PTO and three point. Weights approx. 1500 lbs, appears to be all aliminum cast except engine. Hood is attached at the lower front and swings up, over and down allowing complete acess to the engine. Currently painted rust red with blue showing where the paint has flaked. The tractor is curently deadlined with a cluth problem. If you have seen or know anything about this tractor or have access to printed material dealing with operation or maintenance please respond. Any information will be appreciated.

Thank's Les in SC

I believe the engine in this tractor is an Italian Slanzi diesel, the model number sounds like it also. Parts and literature are available from Lombardini dealers. Send me your location and I'll send location of nearest dealer.

Les, it sounds like a pasqualli ( I think that is how you spell it) I saw a Pasqualli 997 the other day that is orange or red, articulating, 4WD, three cyl. diesel engine, and the clutch was out. Looks like a great little piece of equip. It is Italian. Look in the archives, there are a couple of postings there.

I was just looking at tractor items on the net and came across your post. I used to own a Pasqualli 997. I was looking for a source to buy one. I was thinking they were still in production but I guess not. It was a great peice of machinery. Darn thing could just about climb a telephone pole and pull anything. Sure wish I had it now.

Fred: I appreciate the info. I did find references to the Pasqualli in the Archives. Was surprised to learn these tractors were built for work in the vineyards. Since the owner bought the tractor in France he should have know that.

While I do not believe the tractor to be a Pasqualli I do believe it to be a copy of or perhaps built by Pasqualli for sale out of country. I do not need a Maintenance manulal to do a clutch replacement, but the owner needs a operators manual to determine Liquid specifiations and volumes.

Another poster jogged my memory bank by suggesting that the clutch can be rebuilt by a rebuild company. I now have three winter projects.

Thank You Les in SC.
