What Paint to Use on a Radiator

What kind of paint should I use on a radiator? Its on a AC D10. Does it need to be a high temp paint? I am assuming you don't use primer. Any help/suggestions is much appreciated.

I don't have an Allis, but use the same paint as is used on the rest of the tractor. I prime everything. The only place you need high temp paint is on the exhaust manifold. However, I do as the manufacturers did in that era, paint it the same as the rest of the tractor and let it burn off. It will not burn off the engine or the radiator.

Rad. shops have paint made for radiators, gloss paints do not transfer heat well

remember, the tanks also dissipate heat!

With the little use my tractors get it does not matter. Cleanliness of the radiator and the rest of the cooling system far outweigh the color and type of paint.
