Painting H Farmall

I'm new to the painting thing... I have sanded the entire tractor down ( it was very badly rusted ) I have removed mag, intake and carb, governor ... etc. I am going to prime the tractor and then paint... my question is will a gallon of primer and paint be enough to do this or will I need more? I am going to attempt to spray it and need all the advice and tips I can get. Thanks in advance for any input.
Thanks Jay

Assuming 3 coats, and removing all parts you can easily remove, you will need about 5 quarts for good coverage. A gallon of primer might do. I completely strip my tractors, for the H size, 6 quarts is about right.
