REMOVING PAINT OFF OF TIRES?

I got some over-spray on my tires, what is the easiest way to remove it without it messing up the tire or the paint on the rim?

Thanks, ...that is what I figured it would come down to, ...I was just kinda hoping that a household cleanser or something to that nature would do the job just as well.

Thanks, I do appreciate your taking the time to help me out.

paint and decal remover. it comes in a spray bomb can. just be steady and spray around the wheel. do about a 3 foot section at a time. it takes about 5 minutes for it fully activate. so if you get a little on the wheel you have time to wipe it off with out it hurting anything. once its bubbled up, i take the hose and rinse it off. its easier than it sounds.

(quoted from post at 09:59:19 03/27/11) I have had some luck with plan ole WD-40 and wire brush or scouring pad.

Well, I have plenty of THAT! Will see what it can do, thanks Tony!

i've laways used laq thinner or reducer on a rag as another poster mentioned. works for me.
