Touch up with Omni MAE and Bursh

I recently painted a rim with Omni MAE using MR 186 medium reducer over epoxy primer and I am pleased with the results. There are a few areas I scrached on the edge of rim and I want to touch up using a brush.
What I am not sure about is if I need to mix the MAE with the reducer as I did when I sprayed the rim.
Or to put it another way, is the reducer just an aid to thin the paint to spray it or is it needed for some type of chemical reaction to help it dry.
The scratches are not thru the epoxy so this is just for looks.

TJ,
When I touch up with a brush I don't thin the paint. I only use reducer so the paint will spray thru the gun and "Lay Down" properly. If you try brushing reduced paint I think you'll find that it will take many coats to cover anything. Sometimes I even let my touch up paint sit for a while to thicken a little bit so it will cover and fill in better if I have a deep scratch.
