We have a JD A that the compression is REALLY high. I don't know how to check it because our compression tester blew in two on it. does anyone know how I could check it? anyone know where you can get a compression tester above 300psi?

Been there done that... you need a diesel engine compression guage.

BTW, in my opinion if you are that high your shooting yourself in the foot.

I made one, took an old spark plug and broke out the porcilin, and drilled and tapped it, and put in a 400psi guage in it, takes two persons to do it, one to read it and one to crank the engine. The diesil guage sounds like the best route. just make an adapter for the plug holes. Chad
