The price list that extrudehone.com has on their website is severly misleading. The prices quoted on that website are for aluminum components. I recently called them for a quote on the intake side only of a 4 cylinder siamesed ported antique tractor manifold. I gave him detailed dimensions of the manifold including diameters, flow path lengths, etc. so that he would be able to provide a solid quote. Given all of that, I still got the standard "well, I would have to see it to tell you for sure." Then he asked me if it was cast iron, and I knew that it was over from there. Through all of my efforts, I was only able to get out of him: "$300 to $400" for just the intake side only!!!! For that money, I can fabricate a "stock appearing" manifold from thin wall tubing, or possibly have a pattern made and cast my own, given the right quantity, and still come out money ahead in the long run. Either way for what they have to do, I don't feel that it is worth what they are charging for that service. Maybe I will just investigate the contents of their abrasive flow paste and set up my own system...? Take it for what it is worth, but this has been my experience with Extrude Hone. Goldsburg
