Hello,
Finally got a spare LP intake for my JD 70 LP. Got it cleaned and bead blasted. Any do"s and do not"s to remember when opening up the ports and runner"s?
Thank you

If you ask 10 people you will get 10 different answers. It can't hurt to start out with just matching the ports and manifold. Grinding casting flash and sharp edges/radius's smooth. As for machining the manifold so each cylinder can breath from both carb barrels? It's extra peak rpm power at the expense of low and mid range torque. I'll keep the lugging power.
