Hi Guys,

Here's the deal: I go and buy this little tractor, search frantically for a decent loader, find one and buy it.

Okay, I build this silly garage to put it in, making darned sure that it has 8' doors so that I can get the tractor in & out.

After the door seals are installed and the garage is complete, the tractor and loader will not go thru the door because of the upright reinforcement bar on the darned F-11 is 1/8” too tall!!

So, I go out there this afternoon and flip the darned support bar horizontal. I think it will work, won't it? I've seen other brands of loaders with just a box iron across the two uprights.

But, it sure looks weird!

Allan

Allan,
I have a f-11 loader on my 2010jd. I turned the U pipe horizontal so I could drive it in the barn. I like it that way as it provides a handy hand hold when mounting or dismounting from the rear of the tractor.

Visibility has to be a problem with all the support & hosing in the way, but I don't see anything wierd looking.

Weird? That's not weird! Weird is a Farmall H with a F10 loader on it.

Hey Allan, Whatever works, huh??? I've got a 400 w/an F-11; my upper support tube is bolted on the other (upright) way, but I can't think of any reason it won't work the way you've got it. I can't imagine the direction the tube is installed would have ANY effect on its strength, I've always assumed they built it as they did just for better visibility. Wish I had a garage to park my tractor in! I was definitely NOT in the mood for cold and snow!!!

I've seen quite a few F11's set up that way. Like they say it's only kinky the first time you try it. But whats with all the white stuff? Just another beutiful day here in sunny southern Arizona!!!

We like to call that "white stuff" winter mosquitos! Come November, they multiply, land on the ground, die and pile up. Sometimes the wind blows them around and usually after a big hatching, it gets real cold. My grampa once told me that He had a friend He visited in Ariz. His friend was planting popcorn with a mule and the temp. was around 140 degrees.
It was so hot, the popcorn started popping, the mule thought it was snow and fell right over dead!
