Hi Gang;
Found this 1963 Massey Ferguson 35X on ebay on Saturday, description sounded oaky and price was fair. So made the final winning bid.
Bought it for the wife - she was NOT impressed !
Had to collect it from North Devon, just accross the Severn River Estuary (the largest river in England) from Wales, but it was a 405 mile round trip along the Welsh coast and the Somerset coast.
Its an older restoration, used for many years on a small 17 acre horse & sheep farm - the owner packing up. Needs a few small jobs doing and a better repaint. And that very heavy rops frame will be coming off first !
These 35X were the ultimate version of the MF35 range, Perkins AD152 3 cyl diesel engine, 3F & 1R with hi & lo ranges, and diff lock. This one doesnt not have Multi-Power splitter box.
Cheers David

Sure you did! I tried the same deal with my wife and she wasn't to impressed either. I got her a semi rare one a Farmall 350 diesel, and I love it.

In order to make your wife happy, send the tractor to me.

And that is one ugly ROP, if tractor didn't have that great looking "lady" sitting on it, I would have to say give it back..:>)

Have a great day..

I"ve often wondered why some men say "the wife" instead of "my wife". I can"t recall that I ever heard a woman say "the husband" :)

The word "my" denotes ownership, and we know who owns who!!!!... Gene

You mean that some women don't own their men? I would sure like to meet one of those.

That is a nice tractor though. Is the ROPS homemade or factory. Looks like the same guy built it that built the proverbial brick $hithouse.
