Hey guys i finally got the ford major started after replacing the fuel pump . Wow i did not know you could not get so much air in the lines. As you know it takes 3 hands and a base ball bat to start the thing press button in and push down on the lever what a treat by your self to get air out. Now the problem is i got PSI in the raditor i would guess head gasket. My grandpa use to use table pepper what do you think is it worth a shot or should i replace the gasket.

The old pepper trick may not work if you are pushing compression in the radiator. You have a bad headgasket, cracked head or a bad liner. Not sure if this engine used liners.
