I’ve got an F20 with a Heisler OD on it. I’ve drained then rear end lube out intending to change it; got about two gallons out, the book says it takes 8. I found the drain and filler plugs, but couldn’t find a plug to determine the correct level. Nebraska Cowman told me the plug is on the front of the tranny between the shafts. That means it is under the OD box. Can anyone give me an approximate measurement down from the top of the tranny to the bottom of the level hole? Is there another way to check of get the correct level? Perhaps measure down from the filler hole to the level? Be gentle, this is my first red tractor;)! Thanks much, Scott in SC
