Curt is right. I had 180degree play in mine. There is a nut under there (hard to get to) where the steering arm attaches. It was not very loose at all, but I snugged it up & now I have about 75 degree play. Huge difference. Rebuilding the thing is a big job from what I understand. Good Luck
