I was finally able to bring home my 55 jd 50 from my friends place. Starting to tear it down for restoration. Problem is I cant decide if I want to do a mechanical restore or go the full distance and make it like new. Right now I'm making a list of parts and items that need work done to them. Has anyone here restored a 50 that I can ask questions? It'd not my first 2-cylinder but it's bigger than I'm used to.
