I recently purchased aJD40 and am trying to find some history on the unit.The serial tag is missing and cannot find any other I.D. The track is a 4 roller but the track length is that of a 5 roller.
It has a forward/reverse shuttle on the trans.
Original color appears to be green but has been painted over yellow.Did Deere build an industrial 40?
Have purchased the service manual and no info on the shuttle or the loader it is equipped with(ATECO JD 6449)
Any way of determining serial # without tag?
Any info would be greatly appreciated !!
