I'd like to drill approximately 3" diameter holes in the ground around the drip line of trees for fertilizer but all the post hole diggers I can find have a minimum of 6" diameter bits. Does anybody know of any device the likes of which could be PTO driven, hydraulic or some such that would do the trick? I've tried (and burned) several drills with the little commonly available bulb planting garden type bits. Thanks and have a good day, John
