Tighten that muffler up before you have to buy a new one. Lots of diesels "slobber" oil, especially when idling for extended peroids of time. The engine when idling doesn't build up enough heat to burn off all the fuel and or diesel. If it's excessive you might want to put in a set of valve seals. Most diesels do not have exhaust valve seals. Back pressure from exhaust and heat usually keeps things it check. In a tight engine with tight tolerances the valve needs all the lubrication it can get,when it's worn seals on the exhaust won't hurt.If it smokes new injectors may be in order.
