The farmall cubs started in 1947 with 501 and cost $545. Over 215,000 Farmall Cub tractors were built between 1947 and 1964, with better than 80 % of the total production built by the end of 1953. Actual Cub years of production went until 1979. Cubs were prduced for 32 straight years with a total production of 252,997, Toward the end only about 3,000 a year were made in the Louisville Ky plant. Later the name was changed to International Cub. Colors changed to in the later models. My first Cub was a 1970 International Cub (white and yellow). I also have a 1959 Farmall Cub(red)
