Is a Narrow Front less stable?

I'd like to read your thoughts on this issue.

I believe the narrow front tractor is maligned. It has been branded as less stable than a wide front, especially on hillsides, and I wonder if this is true.

Things to consider:

1)    Center of gravity...crop or utility frame
2)    Kingpin pivot of wide front
3)    Stability on hillside vs. fast cornering
4)    Wheelbase difference of same tractor with WF/NF
5)    Speed

Any 'dare to be different' thoughts?
