:There could be a short cut. I am rebuilding two AC-C's now and have done a CA. In one case I had to remove the engine from the tractor inorder to have the crank reground besides the normal shells, rings, etc. In the other tractor "The short cut" was: I was able to redo the liners without touching the crank. The Engine stayed atached to the tractor. I could replace the liners, put new rings inplace and new pin shells
etc by removing the head and oil pan. It depends on what work has to be done.
I assume there are plenty of people out
: there who've rebuilt model B's. My question:
: are there any shorcuts on an engine rebuild?
: Or should I plan on replacing the cam bearings
: as well as the pistons, rings, liners, gaskets
: and valve guides? Do I have to replace the
: valves or can they be ground and reused?
: What about valve seats?
