: Super A should have a battrey ignition unit set the points to .020 if it does it should also have a timing mark on the flywheel you line up with the mark in the clutch housing.

I tried a month ago or to set the timing on my 49 Super "A" and while looking thru the inspection hole @ the fly wheel, I could not see any timing marks whatsoever. Are their some fly wheels that do not have a mark on them? All mine had for the full diameter was real thin rings. Any thoughts on this?
