: : Z134 gasoline engine with cracked block need to know if it can be welded.where you can buy 3cylender used perkins engine to fit TO35

: MF35, Ferguson TO35, not MH. MH 50, yes.
: You can weld block, but might be better off with good used block. Don't go diesel. 3-cylinder Perkins junk. Only 4 cylinder like in 65 any good.

Sorry to hear other people are having bad
experiences w/ TO35.
I am trying to determine how the water got into the
oil pan on my TO35 right now.
Once when I was draining the milk out of the oil
pan, I continued to add water to the radiator, and
water seemed to drain readily out of the oil pan.
I pulled the head and the head gasket looks ok to
an untrained eye.
Now the head is in the shop for a magneflux and
valve job. The shop guy suggested I be sure the
block is not cracked.
I'm not sure how.
I removed the oil pan and filled the water jacket
w/ antifreeze and am waiting for it to drip out
of the bottom of the crankcase.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

My thoughts now are to have the magneflux completed
on the head, and the valve job done. then
re-assemble it and run it shortly w/ the oil pan
off, giving it an oil supply, till it gets warm
and either leaks water or not.

I'm sure there is a better way, and please send
ideas for sources of heads, pistons, cylinder
sleeves, and blocks.

How long will StopLeak hold ?

Also, when I pulled the pan, the flywheel area
had milky hydraulic fluid...at the risk of being
stupid, should the flywheel be wet ?
