I bought an 1841 HD industrial last fall, it's pretty much the same tractor, in fact I'm not sure what the differences are or if there are any, the 4000 is newer though.
anyway I paid $3500.00 for mine and it was also running pretty rough, I just last week got done rebuilding the engineand spent around 1000.00 for the rebuild. I've heard that
the SOS transmission can give alot of headaches so make sure it's in good shape.
: I am thinking of buying a Ford 4000 HD industrial. It comes with a front loader and rear wheel weights. It's a 4 cyl. gas with select-o-speed transmission. Good metal but runs rough. What is a fair price for this tractor?
