I have a good friend who works at an automotive machine shop. I have seen him install sleeves in a John Deere ( for the sake of our friendship , and to continue to get free machine work, I overlook the fact that he is a JD man ) tractor that had big holes in the cylinder. To determine if it can be done to fix your engine I would recommend finding a good shop and taking the engine in for an estimate. My friend works at a NAPA machine shop . If there are NAPA stores in your area you might check with them. Otherwise , check your yellow pages under Machine Shops , Automotive or look under Engine Rebuilders. Another possibility is to call some tractor dealers in the area and ask if they can recommend a shop. As far as buying the sleeve material. the machine shop will do that. They will bore the cylinder to clean up the diameter then bore the minimum additional required to sleeve. Hope this helps .
John
