1946 Ford Tractor 9M-Is this a good tractor???

I have never owned a tractor, but I have about five acres(recently aquired) and want to mow, till, grade our road, and other stuff. Would this be a good tractor for me. The owner wants $2450. Is this a good price. Does anybody have any information at all??
