I am currently in the process of restoring a 1946 Case VA with a hydraulic pump for the loader but no rear hydraulics of any kind,(3-point). I was wondering if anyone would know where I could find out some information and or parts for the Eagle Hitch Case made for the later models, and whether or not it would adapt.
I also have a VAC with the front yoke and hydraulic cylinder to use for parts, but I am unaware of how the eagle hitch adapts or works. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy B.

This is one conversion to 3-pt. that I've done....it works really well. More photos on the link.

I've also got a 1946 VAC with no 3 pt hitch. Does your hydraulic pump run off of the "belt drive" on the side of the tractor or does it run off of the engine up front? This is a critical feature for an eagle hitch. Also what hydraulic valve do you have?
Check out this site and read up on the pumps, valves, and hitches. It should help Link
Good>Link luck finding a complete one. They can be pricey. Might be cheaper & easier to buy a new VAC with eagle hitch than to retrofit an old one with a parted out hitch.
I have NO rear hitch on mine. I'm want to attach a sickle mower to my VAC and leave it one for mowing the road sides. I'm looking to fabricate a manual 3 pt (i.e. no hydraulics, but you can crank it up and down by hand) for this purpose.

Find a later model VAC with Eagle Hitch and a blown motor. Put your motor in it.
