Several people wanted to see pictures of the hand clutch that I recently bought on eBay. It was advertised to have come off a M and fit both H and M. I haven't figured out how it goes on yet. I get nervous just handling it. It is like a mousetrap. I am afraid I might lose a finger.

It appears to go over center so that the clutch can be disengaged without further attention.

Two mounting holes are reasonably close to the two top bolts of the MTA brake drum. I should try it on my H and SH.

I'm with you Wardner, looks like a pincher to me. Also something else to get in the way of climbing off/on a SMTA. A man couldn't wear his mud(or worse) covered 5 buckel overshows and still operate the equipment. My nickel Dick Davis
