Had a friend out and we drug it around with my Farmall M. Had to take it out on the tar road to unstick it. It hadn't been run in about a year and was just stuck from sitting.
Now the try to unscrew the wiring. Looks a mess but might not be so bad.

A year huh? I have mine wrapped up and it will be a year before I get back to that one again. Hope I don't face the same problem.

Well take out the plugs and shoot some oil in there. You won't have that problem. Be sure an put the plugs back in though.

Hey!! Is it near me? I am on the EAST coast, down in FLA. You could store it at my place if you like and I will drive from time to time to make sure it does'nt "set up" :)

Seriously, give a holler if I can help.

If it's stuck from setting the rings will be stuck to,might as well tear it apart, you didn't fix anything.

Thats what I thought too Ray.

I dont believe anyone I know 'bang-jumped' a stuck one before with reasonable results.

Who knows? Maybe he dodged a bullet?

Doubt it.

I would never pull one to get it to free up, to many things can happen inside the engine that can come back and kisk you. If it will not pop loose with the starter and soaking with tranny fluid or terpintine I open them up. But so far tranny fluid and terpintine has always done the trick for me, and of course good old time with it in the cylinders
