1. The operator releases the Eagle Hitch latches by pulling the latch cords upward.
2. Back the tractor up with draft arms lowered so that the claws just pass under the implement draft pins and so the draft pins contact upper protruding face of each latch, thus opening the latches.
3. Nudge the hydraulic control lever to raise the draft arms until the pins seat in the latch claws. Drive forward a few inches to lock the latches.
Your latch lock springs are probably missing, Roger Hornbaker has those for sale very reasonably.
The latch cord is just looped under the seat within easy reach.
