I'm curious about how Case numbered their tractors per example the 1957 Case 600. The serial number starts at 8100001. There were suppose to be 1515 diesels made, 350 LPS, and 90 industrails for a total of 1,955 tractors. So if they increase one number per tractor then the last one should have serial number 8101956. I have seen a 600 with serial number 8102778 so that blowed my theory about one number increase per tractor. Any one have any ideas on this?? Second does anyone have the address to Case Archeives where we can send serial number in and get a card back. I have a 1957 Case 900 and there were 750 of them built so now I'm curious as to where it fits in. Thanks in advance caseman-d
