Minneapolis Moline Z | Me and my dad like to restore tractors and take them to pull them but since hes a truck driver and never has time to stay at home and help. I do all the work helping keep them running I started out with a minneapolis moline ZB I ran it for about 2-3 years and then the clutch started slipping. so I waited a while and me and my dad kept looking around and looking on ebay and we had finally found one in gainsville Tx that just might be worth the money so we took a ride up there and we had found out that it hadnt really been used for farming it was a farmers wives who just drove it around the farm and just lost interest so me and dad pulled it up on the trailer and drug it home it sat in the drive way until I got home form school that very next day I had no idea what was wrong with it so I started with the basic tune up change spark plugs clean the carb. and put a new battery on and fired it up I stood back and admired my glorious creation and I stared as I listen to the rumble of the motor I had neever heard a more beutiful noise in all my life..... but there was more to be done it had a cracked manifold but that was nothing to worry about I have plenty of spare parts so I changed that and drained the tires and took it to the pull it did most excelnt I went ahead and put a straight exhaust on it and it sounds like one of them dodge hemi's well ive got to go its out behind the ag barn right now waiting to be painted Clayton, TX, entered 2008-02-07 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
