TO MUCH MONEY | About 5 years ago there was a logging company in New London Wisc that brought a huge chuck of timber on the back side of white Lake by Weywauga. They private land owner wanted a couple hundred dollars for them to cross his land. The logging company sayd no way. They a huge loggin equipment brand new including trucks and forawrders. they plan on crossing the lakes. Well they ran off their path they were using where the ice was thinner. Low and behold a brand new timbco machine worth half million layed in the lake for about a month. They ended up hiring a huge contractinr company to raise the machine. two hundred bucks was to much to pay for using private land To day that lake is not good for fishing oil slicks from the down machines.
