I love this farm | I grew up outside of Alexandria MN and my dad had a sum what large farm and only three tractors to farm it, a 1466, 806, and a super M that he still owns today, but anyways, I was only a little boy about 2 or 3 years of age, and I just loved to go help dad do the plowing, so my brother and I rode with him and he would tell us stories of when he was younger, then just like that, I would curle up on the cab tractors floor and sleep and the most distinqued memory was when dad would say 'I love you and have a good nap' and I always did until it was time to go home, I hated that I wanted to stay out there all night long by his side, but I didnt. then one day I fell asleep by his side and he got out and so did I to check the plow and to get some air, I thouight that I was as big as him, just like him, then it hit me the sab door of course, I smashed that little thumb in the cab door, it hurt, but in my dads eyes I could see it hurt him to. now that I am all grown up at the age of 16 I have passed his number of tractors and I am helping a farmer, just like him. It hurts to grow up, and in his eyes I can see it hurts him too to see his little boy grow up. In dedication to my dad who today continues to Farm, Steve Czech clayton czech, MN, entered 2004-11-30 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
