Not So Super 88 | This is about the first tractor I ever bought. When I was about Thirteen. I came across this old oliver 88. A guy said that he would like to get rid of it. Well I said that if he can pull it in my drive way that I would give him 200 for it. He agreed. Two days later here he came, Black smoke was roling from the rusted out exaust pipe. When He got off the tractor he looked like a dalmation puppy. I asked him if that was a disel he said no it was a gas. Well I don't have a picture but I can describe it. It looked like it had been sitting in a barn and the barn fell down on it. I had plans for the tractor. After a much needed restoration I planned out how I could put weight brakets on it. I also designed a pulling hitch. I have been pulling it ever sience and have been doing pretty good. Well thats my story. Thanks for listing James Chapman, KY, entered 2001-09-01 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
