5040 Hydraulics

Have had a 5040 for several months, and all was going well. Now, seem to be having hydraulic pressure problems, 3 pt doesn't want to lift much, and remote cylinder is slow also. Cylinders probably had IH Hytran Ultra in them. A Ford mechanic said Hytran wasn't compatiable with most other fluid, and would gum up. Haven't
checked the filter yet, that will be next. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

Try draining the hydralic fluid and either replace the hydralic filter if it's a spin on or some may have a suction screen on them. If this doesen't speed things up,then it's probably a weak hydraulic pump or a relief valve problem!

Oil from a Agco Allis is an 821 a trans/hydraulic fluid.
