A neighbor of mine has one for sale too.
He's asking $3500, it has a miss and the hyd. is not working. Sheet metal is good. Needless to say, I think he's asking tooooo much.

thanks for clearing that up. i have wondered . there are some things that require more power than my 17 has so i have wondered about a d-19. thought about one years ago but didnt because of the hydraulic question.

Hi, I think if you have to replace the sheetmetal then you should try to get it for under $2000. Some like gas over diesel, but for economy the diesel is much better. The diesels did have more problems with the engine, but if you take care, it should be ok. Also check to see if it pops out of 3rd gear. It costs several thousand dollars to have a shop fix 3rd gear.

In my area D17's go for around $3000 on average. Don't recall the last time Isaw a 19 for sale. I would say $2500 is reasonable. I would guess you can get the sheetmetal if what you have can't be fixed. You can also get a 3 point conversion for the snap coupler which will make it a lot easier to use modern implements.
