I have a recently traded for Allis Chalmers WC it is a good runner but needs a manifold I have found a couple of new ones but am trying to save a few bucks and come up with a used one. I am also wondering what the extra shifter is for This one is froze up and can't be moved I presume it is a reverser but am not sure . If anyone can tell me about this and anything else I would appreciate it Thanks This tractor only has WC on the rear end and it is of a casted nature not formed like some of the newer ones.

If that rear end is square, it could be a war tractor, made during the Big One and worth a few bucks more.

Al, The extra shifter could be a couple of different things. If the tractor had a cultivator on it at one time it's probably a disconnect for the differential which let you pick up the cultivator without moving the tractor. There were also a couple different combinations of high-low (one or the other or both)gear ranges that could be added on. c tucker

I have three Wc's all with stamped serial numbers, ie. WC126xxx,Yours is cast into housing ? Is this a styled or non-styled tractor? As for the manifold,I haven't found a good used one either.Maybe some of the Mid-west guys can put you on to one, their hard to find here on the East coast. Good Luck on your project . BamaDee

I couldn't find a used manifold either. TSC has new ones for around $225.00 CAN.It fits WC WD and the D-14.
